Shinto Spa — Local services in Pulau Bali

Massage and facial was fantastic however I left extremely upset after the hair wash. No fault to the girls at all as it seems they are not trained by the company to manage different hair types. My hair is not even that difficult to manage so I don’t want to know how it feels for other women who have curlier hair. The spa therapist only had a wide comb brush to work with and could not adequately brush my hair, finally got to the washing and it was again a disaster with detangling and applying the hair products it did not feel relaxing at all, my back was soaking wet. The hair dryers are also not adequate enough to dry in a short time which left me with my roots still soaking wet and my ends only half dried whilst still frizzy from the lack of training the girls are provided with. Almost left in tears as It was a terrible experience.

I do definitely suggest coming to the spa just not for a hair wash until it has improved. I do not want any back lash to the girls but I want the company to see this to create a better environment for both the client and workers

My girlfriend and I had the most incredible girls’ day at Shinto Spa! From the moment we walked in, we felt so welcomed and cared for — the staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel right at home.

The massage was absolutely phenomenal — perfect technique, ideal pressure — so relaxing that we actually fell asleep during it! It was one of the best massages we’ve ever had, hands down. We left feeling completely pampered and refreshed.

To top it all off, we were treated to the most delightful tea and matcha cookies afterwards, which was such a sweet and thoughtful touch. It honestly felt like the cherry on top of a perfect spa day.
