La View Restaurant — Restaurant in Pulau Bali

I have booked the Birdnest dinner they offer for around 80 - 100 dollar per person without any drinks:

First at all, the food was not bad but it is completely not what you get promised at booking. It's absolutely not worth the money, it should not even cost one third of the price for the given quality. The place does look nice, but there is a plastic folie which covers the top of the bird nest, everything just does not look like at the pictures. The whole place looks like it has been used for many years without doing any maintainance. There is also no music or anything special to get a nicer atmosphere.

The service was ok, but not more. It was extremely slow and at the beginning we were left alone for more than 10 minutes without a comment or even to be told where the toilets are.

The price for drinks are completely ridiculous! A small water for more than 5 $!

In total I feel like bit betrayed. I paid for a 5 course luxus dinner and got 4 small courses (sourbet or amus bouche should absolutely not been counted as a full course) with a lot of quite cheap bread. When we asked for more butter, we got 2 industrial packed ones like you get in a cheap bed and breakfast. I don't think this fits a 100$ dinner at all. I have to say that I was not completely fed up at the end, even my wife was not. I am absolutely aware of the fact that taste is subjective but the soup only tasted like pepper and it was cold, the meat was tough and the brownie at desert was like something you can buy at the supermarket. Furthermore we didn't get tea or coffee to the end of the evening like it has been written in the description.

At top of all at the end of the evening, the waiter tried to get the already paid money for the dinner a second time although I showed the credit card invoice at the entrance twice! He disappeared for a longer time and then apologized after I showed him the voucher again but I don't think this is something that should ever happen.

I'm happy that we booked the table at 6pm because we saw a little bit of the nice view, but if you get there later, you absolutely see nothing. There is no light or anything, you just sit in the cabine sourrunded by the dark and it's just absolutely not like at...

Hice una reserva para una cena romántica en la piscina con flores y fue un desastre. La mesa estaba preciosa el servicio fue correcto pero la comida fue lo peor que he probado en bali con diferencia el pan de bolsa, el entrante frío cuando debía de estar caliente y crujiente al ser una samosa. Las gambas sin sabor y congeladas y por último el salmón estaba pasado de cocción muy duro… una pena ya que el lugar es muy bonito. El estándar de precios no corresponde a la calidad que ofrecen pagamos 85€ por persona un total de 170€ por dos. No me importa pagar si la comida es buena, pero no fue el caso. Informe al restaurante de la mala experiencia y espero que lo tomen para mejorar...
