Warung Kayana Pork Ribs — Restaurant in Bali

During my recent visit to Ubud, Bali, I had the pleasure of dining at Warung Kayana.

Nestled amidst the lush greenery of Ubud, Warung Kayana provides an enchanting dining experience. The friendly and attentive staff add to the overall warmth of the restaurant, making you feel like a welcomed guest in their home. One thing that need to be fixed is the waiting area, because there was a lot of smoke from the grill which was not okay.

The staffs are really helpful and kind, I was waiting with my baby and they saw the smoke was really bad, so they moved us to better waiting area which was far away from the smoke

Considering the quality of the food, the generous portion sizes, and the enchanting ambiance, dining at Warung Kayana is an excellent value for your money. You get to taste authentic dishes prepared with love and care without straining your wallet.

I've passed by Warung Kayana many times, catching the delicious scent of their pork ribs on the grill, but I never had the chance to stop until that day. Parking is located across the street from Warung Kayana, a little to the north. The parking area is spacious enough for both cars and motorcycles, but you have to walk a little to get to the place.

Upon arriving at Warung Kayana, there was a long line, but since I was alone, it was easy for me to get a spot. The waiting time for food was not long, around 30 minutes, which is quite good for a busy restaurant. While waiting, I also bought some crackers from the shelf, which were tasty and easy to pick.

My food arrived, and I chose the large pork ribs + rice + "es soda gembira". Seeing how cheap the price was (according to me), I didn't hesitate to order the large size. The taste was amazing, and considering the price, it was really worth it.

After eating and paying around 80k rupiah (you also pay for parking here), I went home. The dining experience was enjoyable with a simple atmosphere. It's a shame that eating here is only for food and not for enjoying the atmosphere, but it's still good for family gatherings and just for eating. Overall, it was good, and I will come back...

I wanna give zero star but the option is not available. Seriously we had not even stepped our feet at the restaurant, the parking attendant already gave us terrible experience when we just arrived at the carpark. My friend really wanted to take me to this place so it took some length and effort from where we live. Upon arriving at the carpark location we didn’t see any parking attendant who could help us cross the road, we only saw the man after our car entered the parking area, he was attending the car that was about to get out, so we found a spot and parked our car ourselves. After the other car got out the man approached us and angrily directed how to park and SCREAM to us to follow his instructions even though we got a parking spot! We were shocked! What did we do wrong? He didn't help anyway! Who is he that he thinks he could yell at customers who just arrived like that?! Is it because we're all women that he feels he could scream at us?! His eyes looked angry for some reason, if he had personal problems he shouldn’t bring it to work! We got out of the parking lot that second without even getting out of the car! What kind of restaurant allows their parking attendant yells at customers who just parked their car, they didn’t even help with parking! Very unacceptable and not...
