This is definitely not only a restaurant , but also a tourist spot! Restaurant should be illegal to be as well decorated as this.
So , food is great, ordered mushroom soup, chicken cordon bleu, and Deep fried gurame. Mushroom soup and gurame tastes a little bit off , the taste of gurame still feels "earthy" , like from the farm. Mushroom soup tastes okay, but not too earthy..... Weird... The chicken cordon bleu is definitely the best one from all, sauce is delicious, chicken is soft, cheese is not too strong. Price for this kind of place , it is very cheap! I expected like this kind of place would be expensive , but surprisingly most of cafes and restaurants in kuta utara and legian are more expensive than this restaurant.
The place , it is very very beautifully decorated with stone statues , and wood statues. There are also galleries for painting , and you can buy the painting from 1000 to 2000 USD. Also the building is pretty huge for a restaurant, and the nature view is great. The villas underneath definitely not disturbing the view at all. From the entrance, the middle part, the garden, and the restaurant seating zone , everything is very decorated with enough statues and enough wood decors. For ubud area this place is probably overkill in terms of decoration.
Access going here is pretty easy , but you need to enter a small road. You can pretty much find it by looking for the sign of the place in the main road ( it's pretty big from the roadside ). Parking is also have enough room for a lot of people.
Overall, worth to come and worth to recommend people coming here. Definitely the place is worth of shoutout and...

Read moreWorst place in terms of service and food. As a vegetarian, I ordered a pesto pasta with strict instructions of no meat , only veg and was told by the waitress no problem! After a wait of 20 minutes we got our food , and i dug in . Having never eaten fish before at first i thought i had a big bite of pasta ( looked like ravioli maybe ) and figured that it tasted weird like egg but worse . A few minutes later a waitress comes and tells me it’s fish pasta to my horror. I ended up throwing up all my food and they replaced my dish with a vegetarian version very casually but i couldn’t get the taste out of my mouth and couldn’t eat the replacement. My daughter who doesn’t eat sea food had also tried the pasta when i told her it tasted weird and ended up gagging and returning her meal as well. The thing that bothers me most is the casual attitude of the staff even after i told them it’s also for religious reasons that i am vegetarian and had never eaten fish until then . Upon my insistence they agreed to waive off the cost for the pastas but still charged me for the french fries . Disgusted by the overall behaviour of the staff , their disinterest in fixing this for us and the fact that it ruined an otherwise very good day for me and my daughter on our vacation. To top it all she says it’s calamari fish 😫 which probably just made it worse for me. Please be careful if you are vegan or vegetarian and make sure you check what you received before digging in. Would rate negatively if I could coz the ambience can’t wipe out the...
