Kingsland Chef Chinese Takeaway — Local services in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown

Something has changed at this takeaway. We have been coming here for many many years as the food was always full of flavour, always tasty. The front of house was Tony, always friendly & chatty. In short, always good service & enjoyable food. No idea what has happened now..change of ownership? The whole experience now is BLAND!! No good customer service and tasteless food. Some of it precooked & not even reheated properly. We went back three times in case we got it on a bad evening...but no, dreadful every time. We live close, but in future we will drive elsewhere for a decent meal. I will NEVER recommend the Kingsland to anybody again. Avoid at all costs unless...

My first night in town, didn't know what to eat... Most shut or expensive. This is just a takeaway but food really good. Flexible menu for swapping items, good value. If weather is nice, get a takeaway from there with a fork and walk to the links and sit by the see, very pleasant. Then walk towards Dun Laoghaire and visit Teddy's Ice Cream for desert. Perfect if you don't want to spend a fortune or sit in a restaurant on your own...
