We came on the free boat from Positano where the two female promoters told us cover would be waived. We were rushed through the entrance and given drink cards- we assumed for one free drink. We had one and then another and then left, fully prepared to pay for the second and even the first drinks. We were told we could not leave without settling the 90 Euro tab. Apparently, we had consented to a 70 Euro entrance fee by entering the club, despite not being told by the girls in Positano, the boat operators, or the bouncer admitting us. The manager refused to discuss the issue with us, so we paid the 90 Euro hoping to at least open up a civil discussion; he ignored us, at which point we seeked the aid of other staff and learned he was not the manager, simply the manager for the evening. He approached us then and said the manager (whom he had just claimed to be...) said that we could have a free glass of prosseco. Obviously we did not want to prolong our stay in such a deceitful establishment, so we left. On the way out, we had to leap over the forms of two people, passed out and blocking the stairwell to leave the club. This confirmed the unsettling feeling we had that this was not a fun party place at all, but a trap to deceive unfamiliar tourists and take advantage of them. We will be filing a formal complaint, but in between, we want to warn others about our horrible experience so they don't waste their time, money and...
Read moreRead the great reviews and we were so excited about this place. It was essentially dead. DJ was nothing remarkable- at times was playing jazz music?? The club itself is absolutely gorgeous and has so much potential but we didn’t even stay past 1 drink. When we went to close our tab they tried to charge us for a bottle of water that we never got (I had asked for water originally but never got any which was fine I just dismissed that oversight.. but then to try to charge us €6 for something we never received it ridiculous..) regardless of the extra charge- drinks were still overpriced. Again.. great potential but was not worth even stopping by from...
Read moreThe layout, design and physical space is absolutely stunning. It is a grotto, built into the caves. It is very open inside, yet picturesque. The food was some of the best I've had while in Praiano and Italy for that matter. Their prices are a little higher than other places here, but well worth it. The service staff were very nice and overall I'm glad we visited this beautiful restaurant. They told us they've only been open a couple of months, and I can see this place having great success in the future. Very different than almost every other place in the area and a must see...
