Magic Room Escape — Local services in Rome

From the moment I booked the event to actually completing the Escape Room, the staff at Magic Escape Room has been very accommodating and patient with all of my questions. We chose 5pm to do the Harry Houdini escape room. Good thing we left our hotel a little early because our cab driver didn’t drop us off directly in front of the Magic Escape. You could totally walk by it by accident. We thought finding the place was “part” of the escape! There is no door you can push open, and there is no doorbell. I had to WhatsApp them for them to open the door. Benny was very nice—he explained everything and reassured us that there were both Italian and English directions once in the room. We loved this escape room! It was very challenging though. The biggest difference I noticed from the rooms we’ve done in the states is there is no clock telling you how much time you have left. edit: The manager contacted us after our bad experience and offered us a free re-play of another room. We might try the "Escapist" later this week. If we do and enjoy it a lot, I'll adapt this to 5/5 stars.

We tried the Escape Room "The Wizard's Prison" two days ago. We would have loved the escape room. Decoration and storyline were great (except for the final riddle tbh). Unfortunately, the support staff constantly told us where to find the riddles and how to solve them. This made it way too easy, which was a real shame. We were done in little more than 30 minutes. We had had high hopes after the good reviews online, but were left disappointed in the end. We are trying out a different escape room instead now. Absolutely positively amazing staff and this room escape was so amazing and by far one of my more favorites!!!!!! So much fun and interactive and great! Would definitely travel back to Rome to simply go again at this place. We have done escape rooms all around the world including New York, Peru, Greece, Croatia, London, and more, and this is by far one of the most memorable ones we have been By far. We did the escape from Azkaban room and including Wands, dementors, potions and more the experience was amazing.
