I have been going to this top-notch establishment since my high school days. The furniture looks the same and the food is as good as in the olden days. The pizza is served Roman-style, thin and well cooked, and it is excellent. The "supplí" (deep-fried rice balls) are sublime, among the best in town. There are a few other local dishes (sausages, pasta dishes, seasonal salads, battered pumpkin flowers, desserts), some of which off-menu, which have always been up to the standard. The ambiance is informal but one finds clean tablecloths and cloth napkins. The service is also informal as well as very efficient; orders are taken on small sheets of paper where customers tick their choices with a Bic pen ‒ sometimes fried antipasti arrive within 1 minute from the order. The place is well known within and outside the neighbourhood and consequently it is often busy; it is not possible to book but the manager Remo, a cheerful man with a faux-grumpy look, handles the queue with courtesy and efficiency. Finally, they brought us the wrong pizza, although while ordering I pointed to the one we've wanted in the menu. We didn't want to be rude, so we didn't send it back and decided to try that one instead. To which I'll say - I absolutely do not recommend pizza with broccoli As for the positives - people were nice, prices were okay, and calzone...

When we decided to try somewhere else, their pizza was our point of reference to which we could compare. Would highly recommend the pizza bianca (I had the Boscaoila, which was excellent) as we preferred it than the one with tomato sauce. We only ate pizza, but all other dishes seemed excellent as well. Oh and don't forget the Tiramisu ... a little bit of heaven. Very fair prices that will not...
