Piazza Gianicolo — Local services in Rome

Watching the sun set over Rome from Piazza Garibaldi - One of the best free experiences in Rome! There are a couple of snack / drink kiosks / trucks there serving cocktails (in takeaway plastic cups though), gelato, sandwiches, soft drinks etc etc There’s no seating really aside from the wall around the edge of the Piazza which can get a bit crowded. A favourite spot for locals. Easy to get to with the little 115 bus or a pleasant walk through the Gianiculum park - fairly flat for the most part but getting up / down there to / from Trastevere is...

Prenotato per un evento privato, specificando per tempo esigenze, tutti i dettagli utili e numero di persone. Una volta arrivata, non solo non erano stati capiti né orario della prenotazione né nome né numero di persone ma per l’intera sera non abbiamo avuto servizio al tavolo e i tempi di attesa sono stati epocali. Un compleanno che poteva essere rovinato da un servizio scadente a dir poco. Nonostante tutte le falle del’organizzazione, lampanti e che comunque avevo ben fatto notare, mi è stato portato un conto MENTRE soffiavo sulle candeline. Pretendere puntualità (per un conto che comunque avrei ovviamente saldato seduta stante) quanto non se ne è offerta affatto né in termini di tempistiche né di precisione è una beffa. Chi sa ben lavorare in settore hospitality sa anche che, al contrario di come fatto dai responsabili eventi di Piazza Gianicolo la sera del 18/7, quando si creano dei disguidi il cliente va ulteriormente coccolato ond’evitare che lui e i suoi ospiti non ritornino.
