Can't believe I found this place online. After searching for a number of years for the right kind of wedding band to replace one that I lost, I was on vacation in Italy and wandered into this shop. I immediately fell in love with the rings and the workmanship. I loved the entire Etruscan pressed wax process and it made me feel a connection to my ancestors.So I bought a new wedding band. More than 20 years later I find myself in a similar predicament and may be in the market to buy a new wedding band. Not knowing the name of the shop, I specifically remembered its spectacular location. So, out of curiosity I looked up Volterra and google mapped the area and found this store. I was in shock to see that it was still around. I haven't given up yet on finding my ring here at home in NYC, but if I don't find it soon I may have to order a new one or take a post COVID 19 vacation to Italy so that I can visit this place and get a new ring. It would be worth the visit on so many levels.

C'è da perdersi guardando la vetrina: questa bottega volterrana presenta riedizioni dei gioielli etruschi sul modello di quelli conservati nel locale museo. Purtroppo non sono entrata essendo chiuso, mi trovavo a Volterra per reportage giornalistico,, ma credo che tra le tante vetrine di alabastro che possono incantare, questa lasci letteralmente a bocca aperta!

Hace cinco años compré aquí un anillo. Todo bien hasta que hace unos meses el anillo se empezó a poner verde. Le hice por recomendación de un joyero un lavado. Volvió a salir el verde. Le volví a hacer otro lavado. Otra vez se puso verde. Finalmente, opté por hacerle un baño de plata (se puso verde otra vez) y posteriormente, uno de rodio, que era la última posibilidad que me quedaba de recuperar el anillo a su color. Ha vuelto a salir el verde. Desesperada, me puse en contacto con Fabula Etrusca. Para mi sorpresa, me dijeron que sus anillos se limpian fácil (no será el mío) y para colmo de los colmos, me echaron bronca porqué, y cito textualmente, 'Disgustado con el problema, debe contarle sobre nuestras otras cosas antes de actuar para que pueda recomendar la mejor manera de resolver el problema.'. Vamos, que se lavan las manos. También les pregunté hace cuatro días si siguen fabricando está pieza o habría posibilidades de volver a hacerla. Ni se han dignado a responder....
