Popped in for dinner here and after eating Japanese for 5 weeks, we were craving pasta. Had a carbonara as well as a rocket & prosciutto pasta between the 2 of us. Fresh, very tasty & delicious meals with all being very affordable. Table next to us ordered a variety of meals to share incl sausage & veggie, cheese & meat plate - it all looked delicious and we will be back there again to eat in couple nights. Beer and drinks also very affordable and loved the modern ambience. Dropped in for lunch and soup, salad & 2 choices of bread/pastries just Y1200. A great change from the mountain lunch food and easy access with frequent buses to and from ANA Crowne Plaza. Come down and support the small local restaurants in the pension...

Looks real nice. They have real nice intentions, but they get caught in a myriad of rules of their own making. “You can’t take out the cake set” and “you can’t have a latte with the cake set. Even though it’s same price as the black coffee and comes from the same machine”. The sandwich on the advertisement is not available. You can’t order this food now. It’s only to 2 pm. No you can’t order anything else either as it’s just from 3 pm

A shame as the sourdough bread , baguette and croissants...

Fabulous cafe, with lovely food. I had lunch and dinner here while staying in Appi Kogen. Lunch set menu with baguette , soup, salad and dessert was great, good value, very tasty. Wide range of sweet and savoury baked goods, good coffee and ice cream for the warmer months. Beautiful decor with a lovely little shop, it was a pleasant place to enjoy food and coffee.
