ESPACIO HAKONE GEIHINNKAN Rin-Po-Ki-Ryu — Local services in Hakone

I’ve literally been dreaming about this hotel since I left. It is the true definition of luxury! The hotel is in a secluded valley right along a beautiful stream. It has 9 villas each with their own private onsen facing nature. It’s beautiful to sit in the onsen and look out onto the scenery. They did an excellent job building the villas in such a fashion that you never see or hear other guests. I was surprised when they mentioned that the hotel was full! ||We chose to do the half board, which I highly recommend. You will get a lavish multi-course breakfast and dinner. The dinner is Michelin star quality and 8 courses. It’s a LOT of food. They were very understanding and adapted to my dietary needs. It is traditional Japanese in style though, so if you are not an adventurous eater or prefer Western-style food then I would stick to ordering in-room dining. For the breakfast you can choose either Western or Japanese style. I cannot emphasize how much food you will get - I had to be rolled out of this place by the end! Also the coffee was so good. I wish I had asked what beans they used or method because it was absolutely delicious. ||The service is amazing. They really do go above and beyond for their guests. The hotel kindly picked us up from the train station and even dropped us off to a train station, much further away. They really were on top of everything. We also got several gifts to take home to commemorate the stay. ||Now that I am coming to the end of my trip, this will remain one of my favorite 🤩 parts. It’s much more than a hotel, but...
