This is a HIKE. Huge portions are basically just man-made or sometimes natural stairs which are at least at a 45 degree incline. It is challenging and long. The path is not well maintained and so it can be difficult to traverse at times, especially if the ground is moist and muddy like it was when we went. None of that is a criticism in my book, just fair warning for those unprepared for the physical challenge of this hike. My husband and I loved it.

甘酒茶屋から道を逸れて、ハイキングコースを発見し、箱根関所跡まで約70分ほどかけて踏破しました。屏風山から下り始めると芦ノ湖と富士山が見える箇所がありますが、葉が落ちた冬しか難しそうです。 また、箱根関所跡に向かって下る際にはプチ鎖場のすごい急勾配です。 大型犬連れでも大丈夫ですが、ご注意を。上...
