Wow!!!! If you are in the area this is a must! There are three levels to the bakery. The first level is a quick grab-and-go. You can get fresh pastries. There is a line but it tends to be quick. even with a line out the door you should be able to get your food within 10 to 15 minutes. The second level is where you would sit to enjoy a pastry and a drink. The third level is a full service restaurant. We chose the full dining option on the third level. I do recommend you call ahead for reservations. It gets very busy on the weekends. We we're able to get a reservation right when they opened. The views are immaculate! On a clear day you can see Mount Fuji. The food is incredible. The chefs make everything right in front of you and the servers attend to anything you might need. There's so many different options between sandwiches, salads, full-course meals and lunch specials. There's crepes as well! I guarantee there's something on the menu for everyone.

Omg, what’s this place? In a cloudy day, after a long trip to Hakone, me and my parents were hosted in hotel nearby and decided to look for a place for breakfast. Then we found this bakery just crossing the street. We were surprised for the great smell outside, fresh bread, and we had a great time with this incredible view to the Lake - we were not expecting this view, it came like a gift. Probably it was the most delicious breakfast we had in our trip to Japan - we are from Brazil. My father (see the pic) took some different breads just to try and couldn’t stop eating. All the breads are beautiful, tasty and fresh. Honesty price. My mom wanted to stay there all day long just having a tea and with a good book enjoying the view - we didn’t do it because we had to explore the city :) I strongly recommend the place! Enjoy the view in the second floor.

The system for getting food is a little over complicated I think, if you get rid of the glass people can just pick their own food and out it on a plate and then pay for it. Whereas here you write down what you want, then take it to the till and then wait for your food and then pay. Which is odd. Especially as things run out by the time you get to the other end so you then cause a lot of commotion looking back at different products. The outside footbaths were a real treat, eventhough it was really hot outside I sat with my umbrella and enjoyed a foot soak. The food was also really good that I actually received, I ate a cream cheese walnut bread which sounded a bit odd but was actually really tasty. The area here is so very beautiful as well so it's for sure a place to look at.
