So many points, but we'll start with how understaffed the restaurant was. No fault of the overworked waiters, but it took 35mins for our first drinks to come out after we were seated. We ordered two tapas and two main dishes, in which the main dishes were served at different points, so one of us was sitting there without their meal. All three of the hot dishes had clearly been sitting under the light for some time as they were luke-warm, not even remotely hot. The seafood pasta was completely unseasoned, no salt, garlic or even butter to taste, no pepper, just some noodles with five of the smallest muscles/clams I've ever seen. My venison was overcooked/unevenly cooked, and for $75 odd you'd think it would come with something other than a small piece of greenery. It was however, very tasty and the jus was excellent. The crab stack was very tasty but the price of such a tiny portion is simply outrageous. The cocktails was sublime, the atmosphere is lovely. But sitting on those stools for so long without a back rest, I saw more than one person wiggle uncomfortably. It seemed inappropriate for such seating to be at what is priced as a high-end restaurant. Would not recommend, go save yourself the hassle and money and get some...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of being served by Andy at the bar, and I have to say, it was an exceptional experience! From the moment I approached the bar, Andy greeted me with a warm smile and made me feel right at home. His knowledge of the drink menu was impressive, and he offered great recommendations based on my preferences.
What really stood out was Andy's attention to detail. He crafted my cocktail with precision, ensuring it was perfectly balanced and beautifully presented. Read moreThe restaurant has a few tapas items that are vegan/ can be made vegan, such as hummus, fried potatoes, mushroom dip, bruschetta, and beets. However, there isn’t a vegan main option.
We came here for Christmas after our shift had ended before going out with friends for dinner. We ordered a beer each and a hummus to share.
The hummus was delectable. Creamy and savory with zesty lemon juice and fresh green onions. It was a great balance and the portion was not tiny. The fried pita bread was also crispy and absolutely delicious.
I also really enjoyed my Yebisu Stout as well. Nom nom!
