Green Farm Cafe is definitely one of the more vegan friendly restaurants in town. Meaning you will actually be able to choose between a few items that have caught your eye when you visit this joint.
Walking into the restaurant, the first thing that caught my attention was the amazing vegan bread/bagel/treats selection they had going on. There were focaccia, baguettes, loaves, carrot cakes, bagels, and more! What what!! They also sell vegan tofu wraps and burger & sausage mixes as well.
But I was here for the Soy-ed Up Noodle Stir-Fry so I had to save the breads for my next visit. The udon noodles had a nice teriyaki flavor and were loaded with tempeh and tofu. It was a hearty and yummy dish. The warm flavors of the sesame oil was definitely the highlight for the dish. However, it was slightly on the oilier side, so I recommend letting the restaurant know that you’d like it with a bit less oil to have a nicer balance.
I also got to try their Guava Juice, too. It was yummy and not too sweet. A good balance to the savory Udon dish I had ordered.
Overall, I think Green Farm Cafe offered a really great ambience. The staff were kind and informative and the food was pretty good, too. It’s also a great place to spend the afternoon people watching.

Read moreCame here for New Years brekky as I’ve been missing Aussie breakfast and coffee. Very disappointed. It was a pretty quiet morning as I got in pretty early. Told the staff that I’ve been waiting for my food for over half an hour, she said “sorry someone else took your order” then 2 minutes later my order was ready straight away! To my surprise everything was cold and the english muffin was stale and not even toasted. As if they just put everything together on the plate to compensate for the delay. If I wasn’t too hungry and hangover I would have sent it back but people are starting to pile up and I didn’t have the energy to be that “karen” on the first day of the year. I should have just gone to Lawsons for brekky tbh. 1/4 the price and better feed. Do...
Read moreBreakfast menu looked good and so did the interior setup. Unfortunately that’s where our good experience ended. Staff is disorganized beyond logic. It wasn’t particularly busy and this is supposed to be somewhere between fast food and sit-down-take-your-time dining place but out of four items we ordered, 2 took 25 mins to arrive (and that’s after us asking what happened to our food), third one arrived at 40 min mark and the fourth one never arrived. When asked few times they said that they were working on it without an explanation of why simple items would take this long. Fourth person in the group left without eating.
Staff looked frustrated and stressed and with just few guests very overwhelmed. Not a place to...
