Midorogaike Pond was considered a gate way for Demons and Yokai to Midorogaike Kibune shrine which is a branch shrine of famous Kibune Shrine in sakyo-ku. The shrine is located north of Midorogaike pond up on a steep hill. Don't miss to see this stone called " chikara-ishi = power stone ". It is meant to give you physical strength.
