Authentic experience. Came here to rent a kimono for my friend's wedding. The bride's mother was very happy with my obi which featured mandarin ducks. Other Japanese guests said my kimono was traditional as what a local would wear.

The staff speak minimal English and are very friendly and helpful. I was in and out within the hour. The visiting kimonos are all kept in drawers so it may be difficult to choose just based on the colour. Do save some pictures from their Instagram in advance that you can show them.

They can open the shop earlier if you need but there is extra charge per person.
