Don Quijote Uehommachi — Local services in Osaka

Love almost all the Don Quijote locations in Japan. Like others from North America say, it's equivalent to a Walmart. Lots of discounted items, and crowds of locals and tourists at busy hours. The biggest difference would be how much more organized the aisles are here, and different products and items based on culture. I love browsing through the makeup and souvenirs aisle, as they never fail to amaze me at the available products and prices that they have in store. A lot of mainstream items (i.e Pokemon, Choya alcohol) may be sold out but you'll almost find something that you'll want to buy. Tax-free applies for foreigners when you buy over 5500 yen worth of stuff so take advantage of it. Plus their penguin mascot is cute ☺️

This branch is great, because it's open from 9AM-5AM. Went here at around 10pm and there were still a good number of people shopping, though significantly less than the amount of people in the Dohtonbori branch.
