Stopped by here for lunch and overall, it was pretty good.
The restaurant is spacious with a good amount of seating. The decor was simple and warm.
The staff were really nice and friendly - we just made it for the last order (they stop serving lunch at 2pm). They told us to relax and enjoy our meal.
The udon was quite good and tasty. Wasn’t expensive and it was good value for the price. The udon noodles were cooked nicely and had good texture. The tempura was delicious - perfectly cooked.
They accept cash and credit cards 💳
Would come back for another meal...
This udon restaurant is located on the third floor of Maritime Plaza Takamatsu, a commercial facility about a one-minute walk from Takamatsu Station. This floor itself has many restaurants, and is positioned as one of the typical restaurants often found on the restaurant floor of commercial facilities. Perhaps because of its easy access from Takamatsu Station, many foreign tourists visit the restaurant, and the menu is written not only in Japanese but also in English, Chinese, and Korean (although some of the menu items are simply translated from Japanese into foreign languages). Perhaps because I used it at night when the restaurant was relatively empty, there were few customers, and therefore the staff generally treated us well. However, the system seems to boil udon noodles after ordering, so it took some time from ordering to serving, even in the empty hours. The quality of the dish served was comparable to that of udon served at a typical udon restaurant. Perhaps it was because we were there at night, but the udon was soft and not very firm. The broth was not bad, but it was a little dry and did not have a clear taste. If you want to enjoy moderate Sanuki udon, it might be better to visit...

A traditional restaurant, we were very pleased to receive complimentary green tea. Lots of different toppings for your soba. I opted for one with "wild plants" and it was an excellent choice for...
