Paradise — Local services in Tokyo

Paradise is a small neighborhood sento that has been remodeled and updated. It is not a place to visit as a large group but ideal for 1-2 people. While it is small, it does have everything you need for a refresh, and it was a perfect stop for me as I arrived through Haneda at 5am. A short ride from the airport it is perfect for a short R&R before I started the first day of my vacation. I visited on a Sunday morning and while it wasn't crowded, there was a steady stream of people visiting. Also surprisingly, they were mostly younger people, I've always thought sentos are mostly visited by the elderly but not this place. Maybe they had a great Saturday night and stopped by on the way home? ;) The sitting area is very quiet and relaxing, and the staff was very kind. I do wish the entrance fee would be a bit cheaper, but overall, I would visit again if I have another early...

Worst experience ever.

The staff proposed me to take the 平日パック (2000¥ for 1.5 hours), which is supposed to be cheaper. However they did not mention that I would be charged 1000¥ every 30 mins if I went over the 1.5 hours. Extra time is 250¥ per every 10 minutes if you choose the regular plan. Really feels like a scam.

On top of that, some of the people did not follow the rules and were talking out loud inside and outside the sauna.

Nice place to have onsen bath in Tamachi area. Usually opens at 24x7. But morning 3:00-6:00 closed for cleaning. It’s good coz normally onsen closed during morning hours. Weekdays General bath cost 1000¥ for 30 mins. Additional 10mins cost 250¥. On weekends general bath cost 1100¥ per 30mins and additional 10mins cost 250¥. Private sauna cost 4000¥ per 2 hours for 2 persons. You have to book in advance. You can do reservations for general bath...
