渋谷区の文化の先端を行く建物という感じの、渋谷区文化総合センター。

図書館やホール。それに、公的に関わる会社等々。いろんな施設が建物内にある。渋谷駅から歩いて数分という近さ。

まぁ、幼稚園まで入っているのには少々驚いたが。この建物の最上階に、プラネタリウムがある。その昔、東急文化会館という建物の最上階には、五島プラネタリウムというのが在ったが。取り壊され、跡地にヒカリエが出来た。

もう、渋谷にはプラネタリウムは無いのかとおもっていたけれど。桜ヶ丘にある「渋谷区文化総合センター」に作られていたとは。まぁ、この地も小学校が在った場所というが。

渋谷区も、区民が減って小学校其の物が成り立たなくなったと言うのは。人口減少から言えば、余り良いことではないのかもしれないが。それでも、跡地に文化施設が出来たことは良いことなのだろう。

プラネタリウムその物は、最新鋭の星空を映し出す。コニカミノルタという会社の上映機だ。

世界的にも有名な、天空を映し出す光学機器メーカーは。その技術を生かして、都内にも幾つか直営ドームを持つ。

ドーム内に映し出される星々は、美しく。オペレーターは、ギリシャ神話にまつわる星座の物語を話しながら。観覧者は４０分という上映時間を過ごす。渋谷では、星なんてほとんど見えないだけに。一時のやすらぎとも言えるのかも。
