Shibuya Saunas — Local services in Tokyo

A sauna like no other. Just located near to shibuya station, Saunas is tucked in quiet area of Sakuragicho. A friendly staff will welcome you as you enter and have a leaflet guide in English. You have to put the shoes in a free shoe locker and they will give you a key corresponds to your locker number.

There lot of dry sauna and cold bath. I love the scandinavian theme of the saunas in the 3rd floor. There is an open terrace where you can have a breather after a sauna.

I had late lunch with hearty buddha meal. It was healthy and great meal after that revigorating sauna.

You have to pay after use. I pay around 3500¥ (weekend entrance) for sauna use and 1500¥ for the set meal.

It is equipped with 9 unique saunas, and they switch between men and women on a daily basis, so if there’s a specific sauna you want to try, make sure to check in advance before going. The facility operates on a timed entry system, and you can spend time in the lounge or have a meal before or after enjoying the sauna. The facility isn’t very large, but everyone is well-mannered, so it doesn’t feel overcrowded.

It’s recommended when you want to relax in a sauna. There is no dedicated parking, and sometimes nearby parking lots may be full, so be aware. Credit cards...

Cons - Dressing room and shower area is tiny - three showers and you nearly shower on people and need to wait for shower if busy Too overcapacity on weekend afternoon-i was able to get a reservations twenty minutes before but clear that was due to not limiting capacity good enough for the small space Not so relaxing as many groups come and talk in the saunas.
