Stopped at TT Kokusai at Sabuya, Tokyo. Thought I recognized Satoshi Aida there to help me getting Butterfly Dignic 09c and 05 (both around 65 US dollars) and BUTTERFLY ALC Timobol (110$). Not sure it was the TABLE TENNIS star, I did not say anything but asked him “ if he played TT :) He humbly answered “yes” :) The things impressed me even more is the store owner went out to check on the Taxi for me after I reserved the Go Taxi app. Really grateful for that. I asked the owner what is the name of person who had helped me? He replied “Satoshi”…unfortunately, I only remembered Aida as MTTL MVP. Had I known it was him, I would asked him to sign the blade for me. BTW: the store limited to sell only 2 sheets of Dignic 09C for each customer. Great lineup. Staff are super nice here. There is English speaking staff (go for the BIG guy, he is doing great job explaining how to find a nice racket in English).

The people in this shop are friendly and able to converse in simple English. They are very accommodating, even allowing you to test the rubbers on their test blades.

They reserved the equipment I wanted while waiting for the new stocks of a particular blade to arrive. I picked it up a few days later. They also patiently weighed each blade as I was looking for 1 with a particular weight. Definitely a place to visit for table...
