Get a ticket at the machine to the left of the entrance and the waiter will call your number using a sign. The ticket machine closes at 8:30pm. My husband and I were staying at the hotel right above and saw long lineups every morning even before the restaurant opened so we decided to try around closing time. We grabbed a ticket at 8:20pm, went upstairs to our room for about 20 minutes, came back down to the line and our number was called in less than 10 minutes. I believe there were about 5-6 people ahead of us. So a total of 30 minutes wait is amazing because theres a sign that states that the wait time can get up to 2 hours!! You can also see your name on the wait list on the ticket machine screen to check your place in line. This place has amazing sashimi! The rolls were nothing to write home about. I would suggest to stick with sashimi or sushi because itâs so fresh and one of the top weâve ever had. They have a ton of varieties of sushi here. I thought they would have a small menu, but it was huge! I wish we had time to come several more times to try all the varieties of fish that we donât see at home in Toronto. You must try the medium fatty and fatty tuna sashimi! So delicious! And make sure you eat it...
Read moreWe came early before it opened and got our ticket from the post in front of the restaurant, and fortunately we were 8th on line. Be sure to wait on the bench across the restaurant, as the line starts there before the ticket dispenser is brought out. Once you get your ticket you can come back when the restaurant opens. I think you can also make reservations. When you enter the restaurant, the staff give you a nice warm welcome. You can order from your phone by scanning the QR code. We ordered the deluxe sushi set, sashimi, salmon roe and octopus, and a fish avocado salad. Everything was so fresh and delicious, with flavors that were very well balanced. The warm egg custard and crab salad served in the beginning were amazing and had wow factor on their own. I almost wanted another portion. We enjoyed everything! Service was great with a staff that appreciates your visit. Upon leaving, they acknowledge you with thanks. I believe you can order takeout if you prefer not to wait. They are located in the Mark City building in Shibuya on the...
Read moreDishonest service. Recently had dinner with my wife with reservations through TableCheck. We were seated and served our omakase. While eating the sushi chef Ueda? (pretty sure his first name started with a âUâ) offered a special beef dish, and pointed to a sign stating it was 660 yen per order. We decided to give it a try. It came out as 6-piece regular grilled steak cubes. Upon receiving the check, we noticed a charge of 660 yen x 6 orders. We were then clarified the pricing was 660 yen per piece, which was never informed correctly at time of order. Language barrier was not an issue, as the chef was able to speak and understand English just fine. It never occurred to him to ask us how many pieces we wanted, yet assumed and gave us a total of 6 cubes of beef and presented us with a surprise bill at the end. Overall, very dishonest of the chef. Sushi was mediocre, service was nothing extraordinary. Definitely can find better quality sushi and honest service...
