The food was okay overall, but unfortunately, the papaya salad was tasteless — even the pork and rice lacked flavor. It’s clear the restaurant is adjusting its recipes to cater to Western palates, but in doing so, it’s losing its Lao identity. That’s disappointing, especially since there are already plenty of places around that serve food tailored to Western tastes.
It’s becoming increasingly difficult to find truly authentic Lao cuisine in busy areas, as more and more restaurants now cater to Chinese and Western customers. This shift is quite sad, especially compared to the pre-COVID days when authentic flavors were easier to find.

The service here is shockingly bad. The staff doesn't listen and makes constant mistakes.
We ordered two meals and two drinks. They brought the wrong drink and then tried to force us to pay for it, even though it was their error. To make matters worse, when the food arrived, they had only brought one meal instead of the two we ordered.
