Visited SKH on Winter Solstice Day. The actual nearby shop i wanted to eat at was closed due to the festival. SKH was open so we tried this for our first time. In spite of working on a fwstival day, staff were cheerful and attentive. We noticed an aroma of Glutinous Rice ball Soup and tried to order that. Oops seems they did not have that on the menu and the Rice Ball soup was for staff. Ha ha, they said we could join them and have some too. We were NOT charged. I recently dined at Restoran Sun Kar Hee and was impressed by the variety of authentic Chinese and Malaysian dishes on offer. The seafood, especially, was fresh and well-prepared. I tried their signature noodles, which were packed with flavor and generous in portion size. The atmosphere is bustling, typical of a popular local restaurant, but it added to the charm.

That said, the service was slightly slower during peak hours, so patience is needed when it’s busy. Overall, it’s a great spot for delicious comfort food. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!”
