Gerardo is absolutely the best dive instructor I’ve ever had. Every dive with Pan Dive feels safe, fun, and truly memorable. He always gives detailed briefings, ensuring we’re prepared and confident. On one particular dive during my last trip, I had a minor issue with my regulator and panicked, biting down hard on the mouthpiece, which caused a lot of bubbles to blur my vision. We had to surface early after just 9 minutes, and I ended up swallowing some seawater. On the surface, Gerardo was incredibly calm and patient, helping me regain my confidence. He encouraged me to take my time, breathe, and decide whether I wanted to continue. With his support, I finished not only that dive but also the remaining three dives that day. He later told me he was proud of me and how brave I was, which meant so much. Reflecting back, I realize that if I hadn’t finished that dive, I might have developed a fear of diving.

I’ve done over 10 fun dives with Gerardo, and he’s helped capture many amazing photos and videos for me. He is incredibly professional, trustworthy, and supportive. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a fantastic diving experience.

Yeye and Yiyi are also wonderful friends I’ve made through Pan Dive. Every trip to Cozumel feels like coming home because of them. It’s hard to imagine making such like-minded friends in Mexico, but they’ve truly become family to me. Yeye is super efficient and always takes care of everything, from arranging dives and boats to handling any unexpected situations with ease. Yiyi made my stay extra special this time. I stayed at their guesthouse, and she was so warm and welcoming, even preparing breakfast for me each morning. It felt just like being at home.

Certified gera instructor, great experience. At first, I was afraid that diving was a very extreme sport, but the threshold was not very high. gera's lectures are not only easy to understand, but also very strict. She will train me repeatedly where I am not proficient. She is not one who is irresponsible and easy to issue certificates. When I encountered any problems on the way to dive, gera would be very patient to guide me, correct my wrong movements from time to time, and take me to find various beautiful corals and animals. Two shore dives, two boat dives, but I don't feel like I've done enough. And the sun isn't just poisonous. We're all peeling. Finished my 1v1 OW course with Gera, it was beyond my expectation.

He is no doubt a very experienced professional diver, more importantly very responsible instructor. Gera made sure we were in good conditions before and after the dives, and strictly followed safety protocols during the dive.

The teaching is well paced with a mix of theory and skill practices. He managed to explain all the diving techniques and related context/scenarios with great clarity. The underwater practice can be very challenging. He patiently guided me and helped me recover from the error state with ease. I feel very safe with him by my side.

The Logistics was very smooth and stress free, pick up, equipment gathering, ship boarding, and lunch are all well organised.
