We stayed for two weeks and overall had a good experience, especially thanks to the wonderful and helpful staff. They were quick to assist us when we had ongoing hot water issues — the boiler can be a bit finicky — and they were always kind and responsive. The apartment was very clean and tidy, though a bit cold, and there were only two coffee pods provided, so we headed out to grab our own coffee and a French press.
Unfortunately, the elevator was out of service the entire stay, which was difficult since my husband is disabled. We also had to purchase some basics like washcloths, cleaning rags, and supplies, as only two towels and a bath mat were provided. That said, the internet was strong and reliable for remote work, and the neighborhood is fantastic — walkable, with parks nearby that our dog (and my husband’s service animal) really enjoyed.

Read moreMy husband and I stayed at Blueground Condesa, Benjamin Franklin 175 on the 2nd floor for a month (Feb 17 - March 18). Upon arrival there were a few amenities missing: oven, dishwasher, hair dryer, and speaker. They gave us a 15% refund for the inconvenience which we should receive in our security deposit reimbursement.
The apartment got warm throughout the day and at night the street lights by the kitchen would shine in to the bedroom, I wish there were blackout shades on every window. Though the bar cart was a cute addition, I think functionally it would be better to have a dining table or desk because the counter with 2 high chairs wasn't comfortable and we found ourselves eating on the floor or couch.
The customer support on the Blueground App isn't great, but we were able to get a quicker response via WhatsApp.
Ultimately, we picked this apartment because it was affordable and it's location, however, I'm not sure we'd stay at this...

Positive points: generally very nice apartment, clean and high quality great location great staff, the doormen were very friendly and helpful super quick and friendly customer support
Not so great: it took over six months to get back my deposit after moving out, even though I emailed their customer support about it basically once per month when we arrived, the bathroom wasn't fully functional: the door didn't close, the shower flooded the bathroom floor and the toilet flush didn't work properly; two out of those were resolved within a few days, though we had some party-crowd-neighbors who played very loud music every weekend for 4 weeks in a row until 2 am into the night which made it had for us to sleep
