Asked for a window seat for 7 adults and one high chair. The hostess ANA said that she was waiting for a huge party and could not accommodate us at those seats, however after ordering some appetizers we look over and see 3 separate parties enjoying the view at the table we requested (we were here wayyy before these new parties) I ask the hostess what happened and she smiles and says that the big party did not make it and that she sat new comers there. Are you kidding me? She was absolutely RUDE AND UNAPOLOGETIC. This resort is absolutely the epitome of poor service. Ana needs to be retrained for hosting at the steak house of a “FIVE STAR” resort. This was the highlight meal for our family! The spring soup, filet mignon, rib eye, tuna, all the sides, pretty much each dessert too, nobody had a single complaint and only raved about their meals. All cooked to our satisfaction and they went above and beyond in accomodating one person in our group with lots of dietary restrictions, shout out to Juan the most patient and funny waiter we had on our trip! Mis complementos a los chefs. Quite good steaks here and the service is excellent. I had the New York and while it isn't quite up to 5 star standards in other countries, it was a good cut of meat for Mexico and cooked evenly.
