Ristorante Portofino at the Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres: Many thanks to Chef Nicolas and our server Orquidea for catering to our food allergies (keeping us safe) and for the delicious pizzas they prepare for us!!! We met them both last year for the first time and they remembered us and met us with a big smile! Made us feel welcomed. This is our favorite pizza place and the buffet is a delicious spread to choose from. Grilled vegetables and cold cuts and much more. This year we met Omar (Manager), Blanca (hostess) and Diana (assisting the server) and on our last night they treated us to delicious tiramisu made especially for us and added dry ice!!! Thank you for making our last night magical. We also met Rafael (the chef of the hotel) and he came to make sure we had everything we wished for supper. We can’t wait to come back...
Read morePortofino was our favorite restaurant at the resort, calm, elegant, and family-friendly. It wasn’t loud or crowded, and the service was excellent.
We had a reservation through our butler for 8 p.m. and asked to move it to a later time. She said there were no openings, but when we went to the restaurant, they were able to change it with no problem, and there were plenty of open tables.
The food was great. I had the gnocchi with pesto and a Caprese salad, both delicious. My daughter had fish sticks with fries from the kids’ menu, which had much better variety than other restaurants. My wife had the chicken parm and ordered the tiramisu, which they make right in front of you — even I loved it, and I usually don’t like tiramisu.
Overall, the food, atmosphere, and service were all excellent — easily the best restaurant...

My family totally enjoyed the awesome dishes prepared by Chef Jara Rafael, starting with mesculine salad, pizza prepared with garlic, virgin olive oil, cheese, and cherry tomato's. Omg the combination of the hot brick oven crust was mouth watering delicious. The next course was fresh head on shrimp, mussels, mahi mahi served with linguini with a light marinara sauce. Followed by a whole split lobster sautéed in garlic and butter sauce, phenomenal tastebud tingling experience.😋 We look forward to our next trip to Mexico 🇲🇽 and highly recommend Isla Blanca, La Adelita, Portofino, and Bhogay restaurants for a fine...
