We were treated to the private dining in Tentazione’s wine cellar which we really enjoyed. The Chef Jorge brought us a selection of starters alongside a freshly prepared bread which was akin to focaccia but better than any focaccia we’d ever had. Our steak cutlets were melt in the mouth perfection. We didn’t don’t really have room for dessert, but back comes Chef Jorge with an entire selection of desserts served on a platter into which he poured dry ice. It was a fitting climax to a great night. Needless to say we polished off every scrap of the desserts and spent the next hour groaning about how full our stomachs were. If you’re staying at TRS Coral, do not miss the wine tasting at Tentazione—it was hands down the best experience we had at the resort. The private tasting room was beautifully set with rose petals, making it feel incredibly intimate and special.

We chose a Mexican wine called Sombrero—and I was blown away. Geovanny Garcia curated a six-course tasting menu to perfectly complement the wine, and each dish was better than the last. Chef Christian Trejo absolutely nailed the pairings. Every bite elevated the wine, and every sip brought out something new in the food.
