Scammed in Cozumel, Mexico

So my cruise ship docked in Cozumel, MEXICO I caught a five minute taxi cab to a place they called DOWNTOWN

I went into the store (pic) that I attached below…. The merchants name is Delevingne. “Dolphins” (he is trying to hide his face from my camera)

He sold me a plastic plastic bracelet for 800 pesos which he told me was $11. But quickly the bank (notification) told me it was 40.00. I did ask for my money back and he said he would pay me in kisses.

Make a long story short I was lucky because the Policia was near. They had to chase him, (because he ran) the police caught him, (This was really a big scene)

Soooo thank God I got my money back.

Yes, it’s only $40 but I was more upset about the dishonesty. I will always think of this when I travel. Furthermore, how many other tourist, has he scammed?

Beware and do NOT use your credit...

Cozumel QROO MX on August 18, 2022, I went to the place of business in the back of the flea market that has the tasting for the tequila.I purchased five bottles of alcohol from this business. which amounted to $386 dollars in American money. The individual that I dealt with charged my card $586. got back to the states I saw what was actually charged to my credit card I have disputed it. I will tell every American that cruises on carnival do not purchase from this business. Very dishonest people I will never purchase anything else there I was just there in August and April of this year and had no problems with the other market that...
