This used to be a very nice tour, however, it has degraded into a low quality budget adventure. You first board the catamaran which used to be a very nice and shiny clean boat and now they are old and dingy.

You will arrive at the first place to snorkel in which they will allow you to get out and float over a mostly bare bottom area. They will not tell you anything you see or help you see anything. However, they do have a photographer that tries to take pictures of you and sell them to you when you got on the boat. Please note you can negotiate for these photos on the boat.

Their beach club is very old, and is dilapidated. The grill area is filthy, and you will pay handsomely for food. The inflatable waterpark is old and covered in growth. Many of the handles to assist you in climbing have been ripped off over many many years and they were not repaired. You will be disappointed on your route, as you will pass a very colorful and updated inflatable waterpark, and that is not the one you will go to.

They do not warn you about jellyfish in the area. Two of us were stung, including one right as we exited the boat to get to the waterpark. There were no safety precautions or warnings regarding the jellyfish, however, it wasn’t that bad, and was not the catalyst for this low review. They let us know during a 15 minute safety overview that they have cameras on the boat and they will use them against you should anything go wrong on the tour. Most of the safety briefing discussed the cameras and litigation. After the tour was over, the main tour guide came up to me and asked how we were doing with the jellyfish stings. But that’s not really what he was doing, he had brought with a release form for me to sign, releasing them of all liability. I thought that was a little Terse, given the fact that they could’ve warned us about the jellyfish in the area as well as put a net up around the staircase where you enter into the water.

It is a generic tour that does not provide you with any individualization or character. No one will explain to you any of the fish or wildlife you were seeing. And they do not attempt to awaken some of the sea creatures which normally tour guides do for you. Also note that you don’t get any snorkeling fins, which makes this difficult to navigate in the water. You also receive a very low quality breathing tube without a...

We booked this as a shore excursion from Royal Caribbean's Indepdance of the Seas on Feb 27, 2018.

We had an absolutely incredible time.

Angel was clearly the one in charge of coordinating the staff on the boat, probably a total of 7 others, and he did an amazing job of it. He was charming and warm. His introduction to the events of the morning was well done, funny, clearly polished and well rehearsed. The whole operation was seamless and transitions between activities flowed nicely.

Started by snorkeling a shallow reef. Staff did an amazing job of keeping 70 some people all with their heads underwater contained and moving where they needed to. Probably only got about 20 mins of snorkeling in because it took people quite a while to get in the water and then it took some time to get everyone back on the boat.

Once everyone was back on we set off for the private beach. During this time there was an open bar (mostly composed of one variety of beer and margaritas). Staff circulated the boat picking up empty cups and making sure no one was without a drink for long. One of the crew members was dancing (Latin ballroom) with random guests on the front deck, clearly exceptionally talented at leading.

At the beach, there are plenty of places to sit both in and out of the sun. Two other boats arrived after ours. Be sure to note your boat number because it took us a second to figure out which boat was ours when it was time to leave. Open bar here as well (again don't expect a huge variety of drinks). Sand on the beach was clean. There are a dozen or so inflatable obstacle course type things to play on in the water. Was surprised to see people of all ages playing on these, but they were clearly well liked. Also, paddle boards and sea kayaks available for free.

Return trip to pier was more open bar, but his time the crew was on deck doing all the line dances surrounded by guests doing the same. Very fun to watch.

I'd highly...

My husband and I booked an excursion with Fury Catamarans and had a pleasant experience. We had no issues linking up with them upon arrival at the port. They got us to the boat and issued everyone the snorkel gear; which was all clean and well kept. The staff was very friendly and informative. The boat ride to the snorkeling site was about a 20-25min ride. The boat itself was in good clean condition, which also had a bathroom on board. When it came time to snorkel if you were comfortable jumping in you could do so or you could use stairs that opened from under the boat and lowered into the water. This would be great for 1st timers to slowly adjust to their surroundings. The snorkeling reef is exactly what you would expect in Cozumel. We saw several sting rays, puffer fish, parrot fish and other miscellaneous fish.We loaded back up on the boat and went to the beach. Upon arriving they did beach the boat so you do walk in waste deep water, for short people like me. However; there were no issues. The beach was fun, relaxing and beautiful! The only down side is we wish we had more time at the beach and less time back at the port. We loved relaxing in the hammocks under the palm trees. The Beach was also perfect for families. After leaving they got the party started on the boat with music and drinks, once again a great time! During this time they bring pictures around that they took while on the excursion. Which we loved and was more than willing to pay $12.00 each. They got us back to the port in time to shop, have lunch and drinks at the bars and restaurants . They were very responsible and constantly kept eyes on Everyone On the boat, beach, and water toys! We would definitely utilize the...

VERY awesome experience on the boat #3 with Manny and his crew. They pick you up @ 1 of 2 spots depending on what part of the island you are staying. Upon boaring you are given a snorkel, mask and a life preserver, underway to the snorkel spot you are given the safety info for while you are in the water snorkeling. After the safety briefing, the PARTY begins! Great music and the beers / margaritas KEEP coming. You get to the snorkel area and get into the water for about 45 minutes, after that is over MORE party and dancing on the boat underway to the next stop to see startfish. Our group didn't get to do this part as it was storming as soon as we got there so the captain turned us out of the storm and directly to the private beach area ( more partying underway) where we were served giant, tasty burgers and more beverages. They have cabana tables to sit under, TONS of layout chairs, lots of inflatable climb on water toys. After about an hour there, we returned to the boat with even MORE adult ( or kid) beverages, music and dancing. Then you are dropped back off where you boarded @ and the party is over... Over all, this is an awesome experience if you like snorkeling, and partying with kool people. Great for teens and adults alike. I had such a great time we forgot to take photos, so I attached what we DID take.

My s/o and I just did this excursion last Wed (10/27/21) and we really enjoyed ourselves. Neither of us had ever been snorkeling before and this was a great first time. The host and crew of fury catamarans were very professional, fun, and helpful. Before we left, we all received an inflatable pfd and were given a quick safety briefing with hand signals. After being introduced to the crew, we were given masks and snorkels and we set off to our destination. Once at the reef, everyone got in the water to float around, see a good number of fish, and had our photos taken underwater, surrounded by fish. We floated around there for about 30-40 minutes and loaded back on to the catamarans to the onboard open bar to go to the private beach where there were a few souvenirs, with food and drinks provided. At the beach, there are several things offered to do such as kayaks floating water toys, as well as plenty of lounge chairs in the sun and hammocks in the shade. I, personally, fell asleep in the hammock and didn't do much on the beach but, I have no regrets. Then it was back on the boat, back to Port with more drinks and some on deck dancing with the crew. It was awesome, a really great bargain and I would totally do it again. I'll try to add more photos when I get home.
