Amazing service by a Mr. NELSON.
In a last attempt, I went to Wernhil Branch with low to no expectations. YET, I was pleasently suprised. I was warmly greeted and advised baie a very informative security lady. In general, she works and assists all customers pro-actively. A Mr. Nelson assisted me, very diligentlt and gave me proper adviae and acted in a driven manner.
All staff in this branch, seems to be driven and friendly in assisting the customers. Really a positive experience in the end.
I originally went to Maerua Branch earlier the week, I got a ticket and had 1 person before me. I waited 1h30 min and then left as I was feeling ill. There was one staff member on the floor, the rest went out. The staff walks around with a lack of urgency or wanting to assist anyone.
I proceeded to go to Grove the next day. Systems were off. Went to Olympia later, the systems were off.
This is sad, as this is why many Namibian Businesses fail, due to their lack of client service. Unfortunetly MTC has the monopoly in the market.
I understand systems that are off ect, just send a sms to all clients. Make it easier to apply for contract online. As I dont receive any feedback if I email anyone, as I attempted that route.
The end for me is just at each branch, the lack of customer service experienced from the staff. I would rather visit a Ministry and receive better assistance than what I experienced. The attitude of the staff can really make or break...
Read moreIt's a good place to be, because it's in the middle of town. I like the vibes there although it's usually crowded on busy days but you could always go there and have a good day. Although the shops are not too many, they are definitely enough for someone's daily needs. It's also a clean place. A lot of people go here since it's closer than the other malls, so you might find it way too crowded. It's a bit of a disadvantage when some shops run out of stock early since many people go there every time. There's mostly good service, so I like going there, besides cab is cheaper. There's a taxi rank and good parking. There are a number of shops that are available, from food stores to electronics and even pharmacies, so you will really be sorted when you go there. Some shops are not there because they are out of town and I do not know ahy but it is what it is. If you like taking pictures, there are a few spots good for you to get your best shots and you can also have your lunch at some good / decent places and prices. You can always go there to do your monthly shopping although there are usually long lines, so you have to be committed. Anyways that is all I can say, I gave this mall 4 stars because it's just fine. Leave your ratings and also your opinion when you get to visit it. There are also a few banks there so if you need to do or make a few transactions, you might as well just use their services. And if you need an atm, there...
Read moreThis review was written in November 2023, during my trip to Wernhil Park, I saw a clean well maintained shopping center that contained a variety of inside & outside shops. This shopping center has several ATM’s and restaurants. The coffee shops and grocery stores carry such a wide selection.
One of my biggest complaints about the mall is actually on the outside. The number of people standing around asking shoppers for money. Some of these people will follow you for blocks continually begging for money.
The washrooms staff are constantly working to keep the bathrooms clean & well supplied with toiletries.
The stores have many staff members that are there to assist, however many of the stores that I entered although there were plenty of staff on duty I had to go get them to ask for assistance. Hopefully, this is just a training issue and staff will recognize the value of good customer service is what keeps a business open.
If you are shopping at Wrenhil Park do not overlook the small businesses that are located outside. These businesses have some truly unique items that they sell.
If you are new visitor or tourist in Windhoek, Namibia and have not visited Wrenhil you are missing one of the best parts of downtown.
I highly recommend visiting Wrenhil Park for all your...
