A wonderful lunch/dinner at Cafe Zoo - La Marmite conveniently located across from the park overlooking the iconic church of Windhoek. Service was excellent as was the cuisine and each team member enJOYed the food v much especially as one dish came in a wooden platter; as well staff were kind and helpful in suggestions of menu. A dog was only present on the consent of the owner of La Marmite as coupe were close friends just dropping by as service was closing for lunch/dinner service; moreover they were extremely kind in active listening to my own personal trauma story in the present and therefore including the photo here as unforgettable experience for me and in gratitude for such caring and compassionate humans present...

The reataurant is in one of the few green areas of Windhoek (Zoo park - don't mistake it for actual Zoo) with pleasant inside or outside seating. We had lunch and the place was almost empty. Has a nice menu of mainly western africa dishes and good selection of drinks. Lovely service.
