This is a review of Pick n Pay's online shopping in Windhoek.
Fully half the time, one or more of the items I order is not in stock in store, and replacements need to be organised. This requires a phone call from the store. This is very helpful, but sometimes the employees organising the replacement misunderstand. A recent example; I said "Marlton's Regular Cat Litter, 10kg" and received Marlton's Wood Litter, 2.5kg. Not even remotely close.
The other issue is delivery and delivery time. This varies wildly day-to-day. Some days, I put my order in at 9:30 and it arrives by 13:00. Other days, an order put in at the same time only arrives after 18:00. One time, the delivery even arrived the next day. For a N$85 delivery charge and a boast of "same day delivery," anything more than the very first example is unacceptable.
When there are issues and you call them to sort it out, the employees are always very helpful and professional, and the issues do get sorted in a timely manner, but these issues should not be occurring in the first place.

Read morePoorly managed store with rude and ill mannered cashiers who think the store is their grandmother's house. They come to work with personal issues and problems. Some cashiers are outright rude for nothing, harassing customers with unnecessary talk, delaying queues, chatting and gossiping with their buddies in front of customers. Yeww, it's like they are trained to gossip and waste the customer's time. Stay at home and don't come to work if you don't understand your job...
