I can not rate this Windhoek Cental Drive through as a drive through. I arrived at 22h10 and opted to take the drive through to speed up the prossess of ordering Kentucky. After about 15 min in which no car moved, I decided to take a look at how many people were standing in the Que. Granted, there were about 9 people in the que at the front ordering desk. I did a quick calculation and based o. The fact that there were only 5 cars ahead of me, decided to take the drive through. "Big mistake. Actually "Huge mistake" I waited and waited in this "Wait through" for 35 min before I physically got out my car and asked for the Kentucky Wifi pass work. I felt that while I was waiting so long, I might as well watch a movie or listen to some music. The staff duly replied by saying that it was Kentucky 12345. When I eventually got to the ordering window, no one was in sight. When I started ranting about await through Instead of a drive through a lady eventually came forward with the excuse that they had just changed shifts. I voiced my dssaproval and went to pick up my order soon which I asked for the manager. By which time the time had advanced to 22h40. When the manager appeared he was in a jovial mood and on listening to my complaint, voiced that there was a lot of customers and that 40 min was an average time to wait in a drive through. Read moreThis is the worst KFC location I have ever been to! And although I don't consume a great deal of fast food, I have been to KFC on four different continents. The classic recipe did not resemble anything like KFC chicken I have had anywhere else (which is very disappointing given that a higher calorie food is hard to find, so it really wasn't worth it). It was also overcooked and the batter was much darker than usual. The person filling the order managed to get a simple 12-piece order wrong and gave us six instead, a fact that I did not initially notice as she inexplicably put it in a takeout bag. At least it wasn't a problem to get the other six, as we clearly got a small box that would not have held 12 pieces. And the staff were pleasant, hence the medium rating.
Perhaps because this is a 24h location (or the neighbourhood?), or maybe it was the fact that it was Sunday, right before Christmas (we only went there because the supermarkets were closed and we had just arrived by plane), but it did seem a bit sketchy. For example, soon after we sat down, a man came right up to us asking if we owned the car parked outside (smelled like a scam) and he didn't seem to out of place considering some other folks that were there. When we left, it was a tad later (we obviously did not spend much time there and left before 20h) and the parking lot was oddly busy with people just milling around.

Some time later, the cashier came to tell me that there is no chicken anymore so she'll give me back my money...
At that point I was so pissed because I waited for so long... I mean, did they really expect me to be happy about everything... May they thought I gave them attitude but the truth is A CUSTOMERS MOOD AND RESPONSE IS DETERMINED BY THE TYPE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE YOU RENDER !
