We come here with our family for 4 generations and I received the worst service today with the photographer stating she’ll do it (when I told her something was not right) ending up with a picture where my girl is standing 4 ft away from the rest of the family. When I asked if they were done taking pictures they just walked away. Their apology was just that, “onze excuses maar we kunnen er niks aan doen.” Paraphrasing, we apologize but cannot do anything about it, it was just busy.. even though I feel loyal because of our family tradition I was disappointed in the service and their responses and...

Horrible...horrible...horrible... Got a nightmare with one lady in this shop. She is so horrible when trying to put costume to my toddler. When I asked if I can help, she said angrily that I don't know how to do it. After a few moment my son agree to take the costume if I am the one who do it, the lady throw the piece of the costume to me and leave me alone. By mistake or not that's not how you treat your costumer. We we willing to pay so much money for the picture that we want to remember, but what we got is simply a horrible memory. Located in the centre of Volendam. Since 1920 this photograph shop makes photos in original Volendam (Dutch farmer) clothing. Fun to do, highly recommended. No need to make upfront a reservation, no waiting line. Good service and the ladies were super helpful.

Awesome to see that lots of famous Dutch people were here to take their photo as well.
