Large company lunch with approx 16 people. Fixed group menu with tomato soup and your choice of vegetarian meat or fish sandwich. Very limited, very unimaginative and standard plates. Disappointing to me. The place was busy, lunch time, but service was quick and attentive, asking for drinks and keeping an eye on 2nds. Choosing our lunch dishes was quick and efficient (not too much to choose from) and delivery took a fair amount of time, but it was busy so I get it. Tomato soup was nice, nothing wrong. The sandwiches were well plated but slathered with sauces and other add-ons IMHO to hide their bleakness. More a high volume high turn over lunchroom with fancy looking plates but in reality mostly disguised simple cheap toppings and ingredients. I recognize it, because I used to work in one similar to this.

So I'm not in favor of this place but if you are hungry and need good service but don't care too much about the food, then by all means.

To the owners I'd say: use better ingredients and be creative on the plates. It's a good location, great staff and prices are too high for what you get even though it looks fancy. Your high volume will make up for it and keep it filled...

Although the food was good, I can't give more than 1 star after being overcharged by nearly double! I mis-heard the amount stated by waitstaff and so paid with card without seeing written the amount, and was not offered any receipt. Later that day, when I saw on my bank account the actual amount charged, I was shocked! I immediately sent an email to see if they could fix this overcharging problem, and 2 days later have not received any response or change to the amount charged. Whether intentionally done by waitstaff or an honest mistake, I am truly disappointed by this establishment's lack of action in this matter.

Edit: I received a response from the restaurant after posting this review, and provided them with additional information. No response was sent after they received this information.

Edit 2: After two months of waiting, I have finally received a refund for the amount I was overcharged by. Glad to have it sorted out, but still surprised by the limited and slow action...
