l have been going to see Nancy a couple of times a month for the last 2 or so years, but the last time i went for a color,(more out of convienience than anything else) this time, and i know she was busy, and had overbooked, and rang me 2-3 times to fit me in, which was good of her but she had a new very young girl do my hair, no introduction at all, Her wash basin is a domestic home one, she tucks towels and plastic around your neck stretching your clothes, also when you sit up from basin 8 out of 10 times your clothes are saturated to your waist, when you mention this, Nancy just laughs it off, she can be a really nice person (hence the time i have paid good money for her to do my hair) but new the junior done it and i was charged as if Nancy had done it, not a junior's learning price, i paid full price, and when questioned about it, Nancy got really nasty, and i mean nasty! she showed her true colors. she got truly nasty and said horrible things and for me not to come back, No business professionalism at all, i did'nt intend to go back to her poorly equipped salon anyway, where you have to squeeze behind a counter and sit on a cheap plastic chair and slide down to lean back i was going to stop many times, But ive got a brilliant new salon now, they're cheaper and certainly more professional, i would not recomend AT DESIGN salon to anyone, the basin is only fit for home use, but she's money hungry is why she wont buy a professional one. WARNING!!.......This is a continuation after Nancy txd me, asking me to do something i consider illegal....... 17th december, Nancy txts me to ask if i would take my post down, i said no, it is written exactly as the bad experience happened.....if thats not guilt on her part, then what is? her asking me to take my review off Google to make her look better. l dont lie, my review is exactly as the time at her salon unfolded. Her txt saying " l know you always good and generous to me"......well....if thats not a reversal backtrack of her unprofessional behaviour, then i dont know what is. l do hope that for her sake and salon reputation, she has bought a professional hair back wash basin, and not keep using the cheap domestic one she has there, that is not fit for purpose, without her tucking towels and plasic around your neck at the same time its stretching your clothes out of shape and when you sit up you back is all wet, So No Nancy, dont try and ask me to take down my review. l dont believe in lies. it is what it is, poor equiptment leads to a...

I had my hair permed at this place & found I did not get my money’s worth. I took a photo of it when I got home & sent it to Nancy & her reply was that I needed to look after it. I told her that I had not even touched it from when I left her salon. She had shampooed my hair, masked it & put a lot of hair product into it AFTER the perm rods were taken out so you would think the perm/curls would hold its shape, but sadly it didn’t. I am not happy. I have had my hair done at this place before for highlights & hair straightening & I can’t fault them for that particular service because they delivered what I had paid for. Nancy is usually great with what she does on my hair & this is the first time I got her to perm it (even though she suggested I didn’t). I just wanted something different & have curls in my hair for a change. I definitely do not recommend perming at this place, especially if you can see what my hair looks like after paying $150 plus hair products that won’t even work because the curl did not...

I don't know where to begin with. I really didnt want to have a review but I really lost my confidence after I went to this salon for haircut and perm. All of my friends said I have such a bad haircut, even a friend who is a hairdresser said it looked like a child cut my hair. I felt embarassed and did not even want to go outside. I asked her if short hair was fine with me, I showed picture and asked if abit shorter would be fine for me. She said it should be fine.

Haircut seemed like it was done by a child. I tried to fix it and it looked better than when I left the salon.

I never felt this embarassed and sad in my life because of my hair. Whenever I go to a salon, I always feel pretty and refreshed, but this time was a total opposite.
