Absolutely terrible service. Gave us boxes with holes in them, which caused the food to spill all over my clothes and my car on my drive home. I went back to get a refund or my food back while soaking wet. The women started yelling at me when I asked for my money back, she was claiming it was my fault saying I obviously was swinging the bags back and fourth even though there were holes in the box which I was literally showing her. Due to her talking to me so rudely I demanded my money back and the original food, but she was yelling and screaming while she had customers sat a meter away. They ended up reheating our food and giving us a Fanta. Absolutely terrible service I have never experienced such terrible disrespect. Telling everyone I know this story so hopefully they don’t have to deal with...
Read moreThis family-run Thai restaurant since its days at the Mercury hotel food court back in 1999. The pad Thai here is delightful, not sickly sweet with a great balance of sour, sweet and savoury. Let's talk about their beef hotpot – it's a sensation! With every spoonful, you're greeted with a comforting herbal warmth that's perfect for those chilly evenings. The appetizers are always a hit, freshly made without leaving that greasy mouthfeel. I highly recommend trying the Mixed Entree and the Pork Spare Ribs – they're simply irresistible. As for mains, the Sizzling Prawns is a must-try, huge juicy prawns in a sticky savoury and sweet sauce. With its consistent quality and friendly service, this restaurant continues to be my go-to spot for affordable...
Read moreThis is our go to place (way back when they were still ar Mercure and we still followed them in Mt.Albert)when the family craves for thai food especially Pad thai. We always order chicken pad thai which cost $13 or $11 if it is on a Friday and Saturday. We decided to order prawn pad thai for the 1st time wich cost $19,,oh boy we regretted it and definitely was a big mistake. The $6-8 diff does not the justify the amount of prawns. Praws were probably around 4(small ones in my opinion) pcs. and they included some squid which is basically a filler. I know shrimp are more expensive but the amount of shrimp and adding squid as a filler does not justify...
