Ashley Allen Eyelash Extensions — Local services in Albert-Eden

Had my first not so friendly experience with Ashley Allen yesterday at around 3-4pm 14/01/22. Receptionist lady with blonde hair was quite pushy and rude, took my temperature with no warning what so ever just stuck the thing right to my head while I was looking for my vaccination pass. I booked for either a classic med set or a classic full set although since I had a tiny bit lashes left on my eyes from a previous booking elsewhere (and hadn’t booked for a removal) that’s when she began to make me feel uncomfortable which to be fair was my fault for not booking a removal although unprofessional to make a client feel unwelcome. I fully understand now that it takes extra time for removal and apologize for the inconvenience it may had caused but doesn’t give a right for the receptionist to continuously make me feel uncomfortable during my appointment. During my removal she had come in and out asked the current lash tech working on me if she was okay to do my removals and if she wanted to swap; giving off the sense that I am taking up too much time. She then left and came in a second time telling me that unfortunately I can’t get the set that I wanted because my removal took 30 minutes (which it didn’t) until ANOTHER girl walked in saying that it didn’t it only took 15minutes and that I could still get my desired set. So she then told me again that actually, I can still get the set that I wanted. My takeaway from this place is that they aren’t as professional as I thought they’d be. All of this during my appointment, people walking in and out and me feeling super uncomfortable and unwelcome I just wanted to leave as I felt like I was wasting their time. I won’t be coming back here, I’m sure not every person that works here is like this but this was just my experience. ...

Ashley Allen and her team are the best in the game. I have tried several eyelash technicians. I highly recommend the team at Ashley Allen. The products they use are the best I've had applied. The glue, silk lashes, party lashes, Russians, full classics. The ones I've uploaded are the D Curls and because my face shape I dont like them too long otherwise they look so unnatural and they provide all lengths and thicknesses. As a mum I dont have time to always have appointments and with Ashley's application, she has taught me about after care and if I am thorough I can last between 5-6 weeks and with Russians I can last 8 weeks without them looking tacky and fake. I've now been a client of theirs for almost 8 years. I first started going to any salon that did eyelash extensions and Ashley was the 3rd tech I tried. Her application was incredibly natural. I have been to other techs and they dont provide the different lengths and types of glue for any occasion. As a full time performer I know other professionals in the industry would appreciate the service they provide. I've tried several technicians at times when Ashley was fully booked for weeks and I was experiencing the thick heavy glue and twisting lashes and I could feel the weighing my eyelids down. I couldnt be more happy to reccomend Ashley Allen. All the stores have amazing technicians and if I required different types of lashes they catered for my needs for whatever event I was attending or performing in. 8 years and Ashley has taught me about what lashes work best for different occasions. I just let her team know what I need to do and they provide me with the best set and the simplest after care...

Not really impressed !!!! It was my first experience at Ashley Allen. I was expecting the staff provide enough information about the style. I booked my appointment nearly 2 weeks in advance and I wanted to have a full and volumes lashes. She booked me for Full set and as I was unsure I asked her if I can change to another set on the appointment day and she said I can change to any style. Didn’t mention out I need more time if I want extreme set or any other style. When I went on my appointment she started straight away doing without even confirming the style, I told her in beginning I want 120 lashes she said she has another appointment coming after and she can’t make it. She didn’t provide any solution such as changing it to different style which fits her time or even ask me to come back another day...

It is not really what I want!!!

It looks like I have a good mascara on. I ware fake lashes quite often and I know what type of lashes suites my eyes. If she was letting me to explain at least, I would be happier instead of putting it on and I get upset at the end. It’s more expensive than other places and the service is not satisfying. I won’t go there and I won’t recommend them to anyone... the worse part is it’s my first day I have it on and it keeps falling... I didn’t even sleep on it or washed my face. I have been maintaining it really well and not rubbing my eyes at all but still it keeps falling. Charging us double price and not even using quality matterials... disappointing !!!
