Katsubi St. Lukes — Restaurant in Albert-Eden

I love Katsubi’s other locations but man did we have a horrible experience here. Me and my partner got in line and got served seperatley. I paid for my order and my partner got asked by the girl serving her if she has paid already. Both of us looked confused since she hasn’t gotten to the eftpos machine to pay yet. So I asked if she could check if I had been charged for both just assuming that’s the reason for the odd question. To which the reply I got was “how would I know?!” I then said you can check the receipt or your system perhaps? “She said “no”. The next couple minutes ended up being a ridiculous argument as to whether or not my partner’s meal was charged or not. We should and could have just left but decided to just pay. Someone that can get so set off by a simple customer request (that was only made because of confusion caused by the staff member) should not be working in hospitality or customer service. Third review: Changing from 4 stars to 1 star to 3 stars. The chicken taste better than before and they cut it into pieces so they can fit more. However, the price has been increased once again to $12.50 for mini bowl (It was $8.50 long time ago, then went up to $11.50, and now it's $12.50)

Second review: Changing from 4 stars to 1 star because the amount of main dish has been decreased and price has increased. I usually order a mini bowl filled with rice and chicken katsu. Previously, the staff would fill the mini bowl with lots of chicken katsu until the closing lid is hard to put on. But now just recently, I was only given two piece of chicken katsu and it was a big difference in terms of amount. Taking account the size, there was still some space left to put more. On top of that, the price went up from $8.50 to $11.50 which is a big increase. I like the food, but I hate these changes.
