Today in the shop, my three year old child vomited on the floor. I told one of the shop staff. The other shop staff came out and passed me the plastic bag and told me here is a tissue : you can wipe it up yourself and “take your time”. I wiped the floor, the staff reminded me “here are more tissues” , “you just take your time”. So I wiped second time to make sure it’s all cleaned.

I can feel the whole shop was so quite and everyone was watching us. I didn’t like the way the shop staff handled this, it made me feel very uncomfortable and embarrassed. My child vomited , it’s an accident an awkward enough situation as it is... I don’t feel respected as a customer (we regularly buy drinks in this shop) there.

I felt they could have shown some empathy for me and been more respectful by simply coming around from behind the counter and showing support.

I was disappointed as I knew chatime is popular in Australia and was excited to try it. We ordered a brown sugar milk tea with pearls and a brown sugar latte with pearls. One of the workers accidentally dropped the brown sugar milk tea and had to remake it but accidentally made another brown sugar latte. I understand the accident and the staff was very kind and remade the drink when we brought it back. When they remade it they put barely any pearls in it. I’m not underestimating when I say there was probably only 8 pearls in there compared to the latte which was half full. As we already had to get it remade and didn’t want to wait longer we just left with our drinks. The pearls were also very hard and undercooked. I understand that they are still new and working things out so I’ll return in a month or so to try it again but for now I’ll stick...

Edit: Owner has offered me a replacement and has taken steps to improve the drink. My order was satisfactory. I’ve changed the rating to reflect the sincerity of the business to make sure customers are satisfied and the pride to provide a good product. Very much appreciated and respected.

Original review: I usually don’t have high expectations of milk tea but today my order was so bad, it compelled me to write a review. The consistency of my drink was super thin, super diluted in flavour(except for sweetness). It was like a whole cup of ice had already melted in my drink! Super disappointing.
