The first time in my 45 years on this earth, I was very surprised to find that innes common has a gate now. I wasn't panicked by it when I decided to go get me something to eat at 2am in the morning and was met by a beautiful red and white gate and realized I was locked in lol it was quite peaceful to be honest. Gates close 11pm summer. 9pm winter.

Great ground, has something for everyone, adults, kids and dogs. Ample free parking around. Easy access using Killarney Road. Great place to relax and unwind at any time. Beautiful part of a pristine Lake to say the least. Highly recommended for everyone. Also the Base/Launch site for Balloons over Waikato events.

The Innes Common Circuit Training area is an amazing place to do a great day's work out. With picnic tables, a BBQ area, water fountain for both two legged & four legged mammals, lol! Also, different playful apparatus like swings, a half court, basketball court, & lavatories for the needed. Definitely worth a great day out! Looking forward to the 18th of October for the WAKA AMA Competition!...

New toilets at entrance beside the rose garden and new children's play grounds both sides of the lake with the now complete walk and cyle track round the lake make it a wonderful place to rest and take a walk wether living nearby or passing through and need a rest break a worthwhile stop close to a large supermarket so you can make it a personal or whanau Picknick and...

Walk around the Lake in fine weather 27 c temperature with light breezes Lilly ponds need cutting back

Had lunch at Pavilion restaurant $40 lunch for two: frittata with relish and salads, plum and ricotta GF cake with coffee

Walk around lake 4.2 km took us 1 hour We really enjoyed the day and lunch and would love to do it...
