Escapism - Escape Room Experiences — Local services in Hibiscus and Bays

My son and I have developed a wee addiction to escape rooms, as we love the challenge of them and it is a fun family activity. Escapism was brilliant, our favourite one yet. We did the Mad Hatter room, in medium level, although we breezed through the puzzle and would choose a hard level next time. The Mad Hatter room is sequential and if you like solving puzzles it is brilliant and a great way to test your skills. The rooms are fantastic, really challenging and I think it is genius having different levels, with the puzzle chosen at random meaning you can do the same room more than once! This place feels quite new — everything was super clean and nicely set up. We've tried several escape rooms around Auckland, and this one really stood out.

We tried the “Zombie Bite” room and had a great time. The sound effects were well done, and looking for clues in the dark made it feel a bit like being in a zombie movie.

After completing all the missions, we were given a little surprise gift — it was so cute and thoughtful, and really made the whole experience feel extra special.

It’s a little out of the way from central Auckland, but absolutely worth the trip. If you enjoy zombie movies or just love a good escape room, I’d definitely recommend giving this place a go. We’ll be back when the next...

Awesome experience! Took my son and his friends today for his 9th birthday and they thoroughly enjoyed it, as did I. We did the Zombie bite room and although we didn't quite make it to the end, the experience and atmosphere was excellent. A great activity to do for a birthday or even just something fun and exciting to do on the weekend. We will definitely be going back to finish the Zombie bite story and complete the escape and try the other rooms and story's too.
