Extremely rude staff, treating women terribly and surprising as it was a woman who was treating me so terrible she seemed to have anger issues and did not want to be helpful or smile at all. Very rude, angro and presentation was terrible. I asked for a glass not a mug for my drink as I’m a lady. Thankfully the young guy was super helpful and tried to eleviate the situation. Old aged female bar staff was so angro she had to chase me as I was walking out yelling abuse at me on the way out because she was so insulted I asked for a glass regardless of if the mug has more quantity in it I wanted a glass like a lady. Simple. Very discriminatory, uninviting and even dangerous. Bar staff looked like she was going to attack me and even chased me absolutely terrifying!. Do not recommend. Bullying behaviour by staff. I’ve been nothing short of fiending for a game of pool since I got to NZ from the UK

Wellington was a dud, Otaki - non-existent

We came up to Rotorua for a few days to do some activities; however (at least for me) been on the hunt for a decent pool hall

Impressed with the quality of the tables - there’s also dart boards and (at least, on a Friday night) a live DJ

It’s only 21:45 but we’ve been here for a couple hours already

Crates N Cues Bar is hands down one of the best spots to hang out! The pool tables are top-notch, and it's always a blast playing with friends.
