As Randy Jackson would say, “that’s a no from me Dog”. Which is a shame because it use to be so bloody good but man it’s gone down hill. I’ve been holding off posting a review thinking maybe they were having an off day but this is the 3rd poor visit now so I just can’t hold my tongue any longer. The staff don’t seem to want to be there and can barely managed an acknowledgment, let alone a smile. There was multiple tables left uncleared for ages while a bunch of staff all took a break at the same time and spent it vaping up a storm leaving 1 or 2 to hold the fort. We cleared our own table so we could sit outside but that was just 1 of 4 tables waiting to be cleared which remained like that for the next hour. When they took our order at the bar they said “we’ll know who you are” but proceeded to walk straight passed us without a word then around ever table asking if it was their food before finally coming to us after I realised it must be ours and waving out. With that she dumped our food without a word and stormed off. We were then interrupted multiple times asking if we had order what ever it was they were holding in there hands. I don’t think we’ll be rushing back which is a shame after the glory days of great food, cheerful staff and reasonably priced craft beer. At least the beer hasn’t quite reached...
Read moreWent to Boneface on the weekend and I have to agree with a few of the recent comments - the food at Boneface appears to be getting worse and worse. I personally had the half rib rack meal. The only thing good was the ribs as it was tasty and the meat fell off the bone. The corn cobs which used to be always freshly grilled and delicious wasn't grilled at all - it was either boiled or microwaved and not very nice wouldn't order it again. Couple of the boys got burgers and fries at $26 for what I'd call a snack sized burger and run of the mill mass produced chips. The burgers used to be quite substantial, delicious and came with hand cut agrias that really complimented the burgers well. The burgers the boys got looked quite sad. The beers however great as per usual.
The quality of the food when Boneface first opened up was absolutely amazing and highlights were the crazy sharing platter just after lockdown last year for $90ish and you got ribs/sausages/chicken/brisket/pulled pork and a selection of sides personal favourite was the crispy onion strings/rings. Incredible and really good quality food that really made the overall experience at Boneface so good. Unfortunately last weekend's experience is a long way from those heights and won't be making the trek out to...

Our party of 5 arrived with no reservation at 6pm and asked if they had a table, the woman said I'll check and then immediately took a phone call, no worries hun.
Someone else came and got us a table.
Nobody came to take our drink or food order. Tumbleweeds were flying when a waitress came over with expresso martinis. I explained we hadn't yet ordered and she said 'well I don't know where these are going so you can have them' nice but soz to whoever missed their martinis.
After an eternity our mate went up to the bar to order our food. I got Philly cheese steak which had potential but a pitiful amount of cheese sauce, literally a sad drop.
My friend liked majority of her meal for two but the mac n cheese was not seasoned at all. I mean prices are high so at least salt and pepper the food ya hear.
The real low point was there wasn't a fork to be found and we asked staff politely to bring some over but hardly a surprise nobody came.
At least 20 mins later with empty plates in front of us a guy came and said 'is it too late to offer you forks??
Yes far too late. Was a bit of a laugh though
Won't be returning anytime soon, and please BYO...
