NOSH Catering + Events — Local services in North Island

We used Nosh for catering our Wedding and they went above and beyond in terms of preparations, food and service.

Preparations: We dealt with Mandy and she really put in a lot of her personal time to help us make the day special and stress free. She also personnaly supervised the day which was something we didn't expect and turned out to be an added extra as we had been dealing with her prior to the event so she knew exactly what we wanted on the day. Don't expect this from all event organizers as this is a separate job from the supervisor on the day so we really appreciated it!

Service: Can't say too much on the service we were mostly busy (as you can imagine) but this a good thing because good service doesn't mean it's constantly in your face but is always happening around you without noticing which is very professional. The only thing I could really pick on was speed of serving lunch however with the number of servers doing this (we were cheap haha) , what can you expect.

Me and my wife were very specific but little things like Nosh placing an ice bucket with champagne at our table was not discussed and this and other little things make the day extra special : )

At the end of the day they packed all the leftovers for us to take home....(insert gluttonous face here)

Food: The food was great! presentation is something that we found other catering companies lacked (from website photos) however Nosh takes extra care in this and for a wedding flavor and presentation both need to be of a high standard. In the end we didn't get to try everything but most of it was great and lived up to our expectations.

*Unrelated but we also have Nosh cater to our work and their sausage roll's are awesome! the.best.rolls.ever. I would have got them for the wedding if I wouldn't be...

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks for the amazing service you provided at our wedding. We were married at the Milk Station, Otaki on 23 January 2025. The food was absolutely exceptional—so many guests have complimented it and even asked for copies of the menu! You catered beautifully to all dietary needs, with the kids' meals and vegetarian options receiving particular praise. Everyone left satisfied, and we appreciated how extra food was provided to some tables.

The family-style buffet was the perfect choice, running on schedule and enhancing the overall experience. Our guests described the wedding as stunning, and the quality of the food and service played a significant role in that sentiment.

Your staff was not only professional and efficient but also incredibly friendly, ensuring that our guests felt spoiled throughout the evening. Communication with your team was clear and effective, making the entire process seamless.

The pre-planning stage, managed by our wedding planner, went smoothly, and choosing the menu was a breeze. Your flexibility in accommodating our personal requests made the selection process enjoyable, and any queries we had were addressed promptly.

Nosh became the immediate front runner to cater our wedding because of the personable and genuine communication we originally had. Planning a wedding is pretty daunting, and Kate made us feel so at ease and comfortable that everything was under control from the get go. We were offered the option of tasting their food, which we jumped at and not only was the food perfect when it arrived- it was delivered to our door on a wet and cold stormy night! Communication was always clear and precise and nothing was too much of an ask. They worked amazingly well with our other vendors and we did not have to worry about a thing - we were able to truly just enjoy our day. Every single guest of ours commented on how amazing the food was, (some even followed the waiters around for seconds!), no dietary request was too much and everyone felt extremely comfortable with their staff. The fact that Kate approached my Nana who can't get around too well anymore to ask what she would like from the buffet so that she could make up a plate for her was so touching.
